Hiring hospitality staff from the Philippines: the employer’s first brief
A useful hiring process begins with a precise brief: which role, where, when and who will support onboarding.
Describe the role as the employee will experience it
Record duties, needed experience, working languages, schedule or shifts and the workplace. Include practical transport or accommodation needs.
Plan when you need the team
Provide a desired start date and employment period. Do not schedule shifts around an application that has not been approved: timing depends on the authorities and the individual case.
Check obligations and documents
The Greek authorities publish the formal invitation process. Employers and their qualified advisers should confirm the current category, documents and employment terms for the specific role before submitting an application.
Assign onboarding responsibility
Assign who welcomes the employee, explains property procedures and checks first-week practical needs. KWCS can discuss how sourcing and candidate communication are coordinated.
